FLEETING.

I think I probably have the most psychotic style cycle. I can literally sit and flick through Vogue and decide to base my autumn wardrobe around muted tones and knits, then the next second want to wear leather trousers, black and grey cashmere, tweed blazers, pretty dresses, and back to muted. This is of course what makes fashion so fun. It causes mayhem in my wardrobe, I endlessly try to colour code and organise the masses but endlessly FAIL! Anyone have any good wardrobe organisation tips?? I'm currently living away from home and my wardrobe consists of an extended clothes horse with far to many hangers squeezed on. It does not make life easy. Ha.

CAMPAIGNS.

These are my favourite editorials that have come out now. Both quite different to each other, but both seem to appeal to me. I love Freja and Isabel Marant, a perfect pairing. And the Bally campaign has a polished elegance that is just the right amount of sleek and staged.

MONDAY.SUN

Good morning! Woke up at 7am with sun beaming into my room! How nice. Off to work in a bit now, just have to eat. Today I'm wearing a new ACNE skirt which i'm in love with. U can't really tell the texture from the pics but it's like a mesh, sports woven finish. Will try get a better pic later to show. The top is just a basic vest from Topshop, think it adds to the 'sporty' look of the skirt. My only concern is... is the skirt tooo short for work? I guess I'm wearing it to the head office of its designer, but still? Pieces always come up a bit shorter on me.
Anyway- have a fab day everyone wherever you are! Oh with this i'll wear my prada pumps and Alexander Wang Rocco bag, and maybe a black blazer too.

ROCK.STAR

If I had these beauties in my wardrobe, my life would be fulfilled. Allllllmost! But seriously, I really do believe they would make me happy, in a completely superficial and material manner. But hey- what's not to love about that??! WE can all have our dreams and not be shy about them.

THE.CITY

Back in the city for another week of work! Must say that I LOVE this editorial in the May issue of Russian Tatler 2010. When I came across it I couldn't help but save it to my desktop. My favourite look is the last picture. Don't think I would be prepared to wear it out but in a hotel suite with a bottle of champagne a la Hana Soukupova in this shoot would be absolutely acceptable!

Today I have done a semi-raid at the sales that have started here in Stockholm, will show you the best bits in the next few days, I'm sure i'll be sporting them pretty soon!

I must say, I really do enjoy browsing through editorials. Especially ones that can create a story and movement to the fashion. Especially fond of this one with Frida and Lara, separately they are formidable models, so put together and shot for US Vogue is a guaranteed success. The style of dress is personally not my favourite or what I would go for, but that's not important in this case! Just wanted to show you all some excellent photography and editorial.

HEY.YOU

Apologies for not posting this morning, i was in such a rush getting ready! Today has been another long and busy day at ACNE HQ! Spent most of the day picking pieces from the AW11 collection that were requested by fashion editors and stylists to use in up-coming shoots. It's a lot of fun to be able to pick what I think will work, though believe me, there is large amounts of paper work that goes with it. As there are only a few (sometimes only one) of each style in the showroom, we have to keep track of where everything is at all times. This means filling out receipts to send with the pieces (so the stylists know what they have received and can check against the list when they send all the pieces back) and also adding/removing stylists from the database. So- there's paper references and electronic tracking of the collection, ain't no shortcuts here there aren't!

MALE.MODELS

Arrived at work this morning at the usual time, though today i was faced with male models! Don't want to generalise here but....ALL male models are amazing. Today there were 3 swedish guys showing the ACNE SS12 Resort collection for buyers at the ACNE headquaters in Stockholm. Their changing area was in the showroom that i manage, safe to say i tried to spend as much time in there today as possible! The collection itself was very good, casual, tailored, and masculine. I was also working with head designer Jonny today as well in his office, sorting through magazines for inspiration boards for coming collections. Heavy and hot work!

I'm so hungry- going to make some Tacos for dinner, wihooo. Catch you later!
