Futuristic Fashion is coming back in SS11. The modern shapes, modern fabrics and plastic aesthetics were featured on the runways, using neutral tones and white as its leading colour. Overall, the styles are clean and simple, strong contrasts in texture and the styling in keeping with a space-age influence. It was nice to Victoria Beckham move away from the mono-tone pieces we've seen before, and indulge in the trend- in a very successful, yet Beckham-esque manner. The message is- be strong and modern in summer 2011.
